Are there any particular brands of brass that you will not load in .40S&W ??? I have loaded and shot 1K + of Speer, Federal, Remington and some others that don't come to mind at the moment. They have all fired and cycled well in my G23 and G27 and the brass is in good condition after firing. I remember a while back reading somewhere about certain brass that a few people were saying not to reload .40S&W but can't remember what they were.

I don't care much for blazer (range pickup). It splits in the neck after only a few loads while my other brands keep on trucking...

Chances are what you were reading before was about "glocked" brass (brass that was bulged from being fired in an unsupported Glock chamber).

I just found what I had read a while back: http://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=846395 .

I don't have any issues with glocked brass, my G23 and G27 are newer Gen 3's and have supported chamber. I have an older Gen 1 G22 and you can see the difference in the chamber's.

I was just wondering what brass you guys that have been loading .40S&W for while do and do not like. Thanks for your info guy's, keep it coming.

I picked up one of the 40S&W Glock Bulge remover dies from redding. I heard that lee is coming out with one too.

I have picked up some that had enough of a bulge in it that it would not chamber.

Besides Amerc the only common brass I toss is Sellier Bellot sp? I have not had a problem with Blazer brass. I thought it was the same as CCI?

I have never had an issue with my brass bulging (Glocked Brass). All of my brass goes through the sizing die easily and looks good against a straight edge. I haven't shot any reloads out of my G22 to see if they will bulge when fired.
