41 mag 2400 load

Any body use 2400 with Missouri bullet 215 grain swc? What is your recipe? how fast can you push them before leading is an issue. FYI gun to be used in is a Taurus Raging Bull 6.5"

The Lyman 4th Edition Cast bullet handbook starts at 15.3gr -17.1gr for 2400 and the RCBS 210gr bullet. Your bullet is pretty much the same as the RCBS bullet except that it has a bevel base, so that data should work with you bullet.

I load 18 grains of 2400 under a 220 grain and get around 1450 fps out of my 6.5" RBH.

18.2gr under a Dardas 215gr Keith run 1350 outta my 5.5" Bisley Blackhawk.

I use lots of MBC 215 Trooper bullets in my 41 mags without leading.

In the 6.5" Ruger BH:
17 gr of 2400 delivers 1356 fps
19 gr of N110 delivers 1452 fps

Of Course, always check published reloading data from manufacturers rather than believing results from hobbyists like me.
