The Lyman manual shows data for Unique and 2400 as well as some others. If your bullet resembles the #410610 you should be in the ballpark.

My Redhawk is a 7-1/2. It is so massive and beautiful it should also be loud.

A lot of powders have been cited, but CFE was not so I was right to ask. Looks like I am gonna learn something with this thread.
I won't try to find a multipurpose powder anymore, thanks Walkalong.

2400, Unique and AA#9 came out most often. I wonder why 2400 and Unique are not listed in Lee's "Modern reloading, 2017" book ?

Edit: Unique is listed for some .41RemMag loads, but only for jacketed or XTP bullets, and very low in the listing, which means it is a less-than-ideal load.
If wanting to put on a show with high power loads you will usually need gas checked or jacketed bullets. The lack of lead bullet data is a strong hint that leading may be a problem.

I mentioned that leading might be a problem with the slow powders, too... he's using coated bullets, which might or might not. Time will tell... ;)

I also have a couple hundred JHP for full power loads.
I'll get me a Lyman manual and work out a good mid-range load first.
