My general purpose 44 mag load for both revolvers and carbine uses a 240gr JHP.

IME, the RNFPs feed more reliably in my rifles, especially the model 92s. They're about equally accurate, so that's what I shoot in handguns and long guns. But I also took a while to convince myself of this, and I still love my Keith molds, in honor of the master. What the heck, mold them all.

I use 240g JHP's also. I use my reloads in my Dan Wesson 744 and my Desert Eagle L5 so I need to use a jacketed bullet.

Hi...
My general purpose load for .44Mag is a commercial cast LSWC at 240gr with 10.0gr of Unique. It works quite well in my four .44Mag revolvers. Lately I have been buying them from Kings Shooter's Supply in King of Prussia Pa.
Only other .44Mag load I shoot is a near book maximum load of 2400 under a 240gr Hornady HP XTP.

240gr HiTek coated SWCs from MBC. Work well for plinking with Unique, and for full-on magnum loads with W296.

I purchased a box of JWC at a show a while back, I load them a little below max with 110 and all of my 44s shoot them well. The last show I went to I couldn't locate anymore :( I would like to try them in 357 also.

the poll is at 72% swc so far guess there is no denying the almost perfect round hole they make in a target
