IME if you want very good accuracy and great terminal performance on game up to hogs, pick the 240 grain Hornady XTP. If you want great accuracy and great performance on deer sized game, the 240 grain Sierra JHC has been a great performer, as in 3.5-4 inch groups at 100 yards from a 7.5 inch Ruger Super Redhawk.
For paper punching or plinking, any 240 grain LSWC will work. For turning 2/3 liter coke bottles filled with water into two flattened out flower shaped pieces of plastic, 180 grain Remington JHP .
So far it looks like Power Bond is the winner.
