I have A older 6 3/8 inch M-29 that I want to use for some informal 15 yard bullseye shooting. I'm thinking about getting A S&W M 25 if the M29 works ok.
Anyone have A reliable, low recoil lead bullet hand load that would work for this?
I'm currently shooting A S&W M-14. I'm finding that bigger bullets score higher.

earplug, check out the reloading section and search light 44 magnum load data. Lots of good info there.

I'll be checking out trailboss for my 45 Colt loads. I've heard good things about it.

I use 7gr of unique for light lead loads in 44.

I have used 6.8 Unique under A cast 240 grain LSWC, I'm looking for something that will just make it out the barrel and be accurate at 15 yards.
I'm currently shooting A S&W K target K frame with 2.7 Bullseye under A 148 grain HBWC.
Goal is bigger holes and light recoil.
