Anyone have any good 44 spl loads with titegroup shooting Lee TL430-240-SWC? My mold is dropping at .431 and 226gr. I've been using the Lyman 50th edition data for 240gr #2 alloy #429667: 4.3 / 701 / 9,800 start, 4.8 / 765 / 11,700 max. OAL is 1.490 with a medium roll crimp using lee factory crimp die.

I see Hodgdon lists 4.0gr starting charge on their website for a 240gr LSWC. I am currently testing my rounds and so far 4.3 and 4.4 are leaving unburned powder in the case. I have some 4.5's and some 4.8's loaded. Thinking the max load might be around 5.0g for 226gr?

I have H110 and 2400 also. Found some load data for 2400 in the 44 spl in my Lyman but not in Hornady 11th.

I'll be shooting these only through my SBH 7.5" 44 mag, I'd try them in my 1892 but the barrel says 44 mag only.

I could be wrong but I think if your Loading a 226gn Bullet over a charge intended for a 240gn bullet I believe that can be the cause of your unburnt powder.
I would recommend adding some pure lead to your alloy to bring with weight of your projectile up. The extra weight could help with a more complete burn
