I was about to purchase some plated .45 round nose bullets from Xtreme Bullets for my 1911 when I noticed the diameter of the bullets was .452.

I checked my Speer manual, and the jacketed bullet data (which Xtreme told me to use a few months ago) listed the bullet at .451. Are the .452s okay for .45 ACP?

Yes. .452 is the size you use if you were shooting lead. These are sized like lead. Since these are plated bullets which are a thin coating, though heaver than some.

Will not be a problem.

Actually the lead core is real soft. Squeeze them with pliers and they will deform easier than good cast or FMJ bullets. They make great plinking rounds.

Depending on your pistol, it may even like .452 better than .451, lead or jacketed. Xtreme makes great bullets. Have no worries!
