Thanks ATLDave and thanks for posting a link to the magazine article. Checkpoint and Tripp Research make specific built mags (G.I., Wad cutters, Hybrids, etc) and followers and Wolff offers 1911 mag springs in different tensions.

Most of my 1911s run flawlessly with all types of reloads. It's just my bullseye wad cutters that are finicky.
