I bought a 45 Colt Rough Rider Big Bore and it was sent to me with the barrel in the frame so far that the cylinder would rub on it instead of spinning on the hub. Heritage sent me a new one and I liked it very much. It was smooth and accurate. I loaded 5.5 gr (7cc) of Unique behind a 255 gr SWC cast bullet and I could group tight on sight at 35 feet. After shooting about 50 rounds it now shoots about 3" to the left in the same tight group. Apparently the barrel is twisting, even with this fairly light load. I'm afraid the barrel will continue until it contacts the cylinder and end up like the first one. It may be that all the Heritage Big Bore revolvers have soft frames.

Has anyone else had this trouble with their Heritage Big Bore? Ed.
