Hodgdon #26 shows Alliant loads including Unique, Green Dot and 2400. The type of bullet used is questionable as they do not specify in some cases. Like the earlier poster, I think they used the "worst case" senerio. Beyond this, I have no additional data except what the manual states. Hope these help those working up loads for modern firearms. 45 ACP +P stops at 19,900 cup according to the same manual.
The lower pressure loads are shown as:
Barrel Length: Test 7"
Bullet Diameter: .452 Jacketed
Primer Size: Large Pistol
Maximum Case Length: 1.285
Trim to Length: 1.280
260 grain
Unique 7.0 grs 709 fps 12,000 cup Unique 8.0 770 fps 15,500 cup
Green Dot 6.0 grs 698 fps 12,000 cup Green Dot 7.0 756 fps 15,000 cup
Barrel Length: 7" Test
Bullet Diameter: .452
Primer Size: Win. L. P.
Maximum Case Length: 1.285
Trim to Length: 1.280
260 grain
2400 19.0 grs 1141 fps 25,000 cup 2400 20.5 grs 1248 fps 29,400 cup
Unique 10.5 grs 994 fps 24,800 cup Unique 11.5 grs 1116 fps 28,800 cup
Green Dot 9.0 grs 947 fps 24,800 cup Green Dot 10.0 grs 1141 fps 29,900 cup

Hodgdon once published hardcover reloading data manuals that included powders from other manufactureres as well as their own.

My copy of the #26 edition shows 45 Colt loads from Hodgdon, IMR, Win, and Hercules.
It was published 1992 and has 792 pages of useful information.
I do not know if there is a newer edition.

The information is now a little stale and of course does not include newer powders.
These days, you can do better online.
( I guess this hows my age ! )

Ahh, thank you, I didn't know that... I guess I can put a check mark next to today's "learn something new every day" box. I'm going to have to look around for one of those, it sounds interesting.
