I just received another 250 cases from Starline last week. I've never had problems getting brass from them for my SOCOM. 250 cases= $204,that's the only thing that sucks!
458s to 452 is much tougher then 311 to 308 is. We used to do this back in the day with cast before heavy 452 bullets were available. It even took a bit of efford to do that with cast and some bullets didnt respond well with accuracy afterward. I guess id have to ask why anyway. theres all kinds of heavy 452 bullets out there and they usually cost less then 458 bullets anyway.

I size hard cast lead 412 grain .475 to .464 for my 577/450 MH. I don't find it difficult.
I agree there is not that much reason size 458 to 452. I don't think it is a big deal myself, but others placed great importance on having 458 bullets to choose from.
