OK, I did it. I broke down and had to buy a Ruger .454 after reading so much about it on the THR and I am not disappointed. It is the kind of gun that makes you say ouch when you shoot it, but it is lots of fun. I have been experimenting with the 240 and 300gr Hornady loads, work pretty well. If anyone is on the fence with the .454 I really recommend it. Very accurate and lots of power, sure to impress your friends. I used to be a complete S&W guy, but Ruger sure makes a fine revolver. Has anyone have any experience with the .454 loads from Corbon? They make a 335gr and a 360gr that must be a hoot to shoot. Anyone tried them? Let me know how they are. If you have any other suggestions on production .454 loads feel free to add them. I am not reloading .454 at this time but i may have to start. thanks
