Did some more testing. By using a longer oal the feeding issue has been resolved. 1.255 and they reliably feed in my mec-gar, checkmate and Wilson mags.

Got the cartridge dialed and shooting well so spent the time to load up the rest of what I had. 850 loaded in an hour and 22 minutes on the Dillon xl650.

Ready for the next batch of 45 bullets in my ammo cans

45acp xtreme 200gr swc feed issue ... 1.210" OAL
After determining max OAL ... OP found shorter 1.230" caused feeding issues but ... once set to correct length ... SWC rounds went into battery without issue ... range test ... SWC ran flawless at 1.250"
Sounds reasonable to me ... time to try a few different lengths.

Great.

I love happy endings. :D

Sorry to be so late noticing this thread.
The angle different magazines feed into the ramp is critical to function.
I use Checkmate 8 round hybrid magazines in my 45acp 1911s, and have used them in friend's guns as well with never a hiccup regardless of bullet type or load.
I use a lot of coated and plated 200gn SWCs with these magazines, and they work great in several brands of guns.
Extreme SWCs have served me well for several years.
Consider changing magazines.
They are the weak link in the 1911s.
