Can any point me to where I can find 300gr rnfp bullet & recipe to shot for a Rossi M92?
Or what's the hottest load I can shoot from this rifle?
I haven't try any other bullet other than MBC 200gr rnfp.
I prefer lead if possible.

If it will handle Ruger only level loads I could hook you up with some data using the Missouri Bullet 300gr LTC and the Missouri Bullet 255gr LSWC. I also have played with the 230gr Softball 45acp bullet in the 45 colt.

Any modern rifle that is also chambered in .44 Mag will handle "Ruger" .45 Colt loads. These loads are in the 25k-30k PSI range.

DO NOT use Freedom Arms or custom 5-shot revolver loads, those pressures can be 50kPSI and higher.

First though, use the right bullet. For "Ruger" loads you won't want to use bullets meant for "cowboy" loads. Missouri Bullet Copany has a 255gr LSWC and a 300gr TCFP @ 18 Briness Harndess. A RNFP bullet may feed better than a SWC, but the TCFP will probably feed fine. Beartooth Bullets also has a good selection.

Typical .45 colt or .45 ACP lead bullets will be too soft for "Ruger" loads.

The 250 gr XTP is another great bullet to use.

I would disagree with that statement. It all has to do with the bore and cylinder throat on a revolver or the barrel on the rifle. I shoot the Missouri Bullet company Cowboy #9 over 1400fps in a ruger blackhawk. I have been known to shoot 50-100 of them at a time and find no more leading than any other lead bullet, which is to say nearly none.

Its not that they cant take the speed, its just that everything else has to be right. The bullet must be sized properly.
