.45Colt(LC) and 460 load data

Have some Hunters Supply .452 Hard Cast Lead 357gr bullets that I would like to load in .45Colt (LC). Would be shooting in a S&W 460 XVR so pressure isn't an issue. I'd also like to load it as a 460 round, but can't find any load data for either. Anybody?

Hodgdon has on-line data for 'Ruger Only' .45 Colt loads using a 360 grain LFN-GC bullet that would be perfectly suitable for your bullets.

You can go here, and choose ".45 Colt (Ruger, Freedom Arms and T/C Only)". There's data for 360 grain hard cast.

found some data for the 460 xvr in an old handloader magazine.

starline cases, cci 200 large rifle primer, cases trimed to 1.790", test gun has 7.5" barrel, 360 oregon trail wnfp gc bullet:

40.0 grains of h-4198 - 1431fps, 12.0 grains titegroup - 1090fps, 40.0 grains lil'gun - 1717fps

the article recommends you not reduce these charges, or exceed them. pressures are right at 55,000 psi (except the titegroup load).

The Hodgdon site RC linked to also has data for a 360gr lead in .460 cases altho they use GCs. I would stay away from Lil' Gun tho.....
