That said, there have been some really great points made on both sides, and a ton of great info in three short pages if one wants to read carefully and sort through the noise.
Despite folks getting contentious and the thread being closed, it's a great little thread about high dollar scopes for folks to read, I just don't think more will help, and will only make it harder to sort through and pick out the good info.
