I've been reloading this caliber for awhile, hundreds of rounds with no issues fired out of the FN pistol. I am aware that it is rather unforgiving and have read many horror stories.

I ordered a PS90 and ask if there is anything meaningfully different that would affect how I reload, IOW anything to pay closer attention to with the carbine as opposed to the pistol. I never buy factory ammo in a caliber I reload but have several boxes of 5.7.

I should have the PS90 (not SBR) in a few days and am anxious to try it, (probably with some factory ammo first to make sure it's functioning as intended).

OP,
On reloading for the PS90, one thing I've read is that you need to be careful in how you clean the brass as it has a coating/wax on it that helps it go through the mags and feed lips. I also own both the pistol and carbine, but I haven't reloaded for them yet.

Trent, a user here had a write-up on work ups he was doing for the carbine. It's here, in case you haven't seen it. http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=739404&highlight=ps90
Walkalong has also worked a bit with the 5.7.

There is some good info over at the five seven forum as well, but I haven't been there in a while.

Thanks for the info. I've read (and posted) some on the 5.7 forum. I don't tumble the brass, just wash carefully. The rangemaster gave me a lot of brass. I think he has the full auto version so it provided a lot of brass.
