Anyone have one of these? I handled one yesterday and it is a very attractive gun, I like the combination of J frame and five inch barrel. Seems like it would be a very fun combination, especially with light-loaded Magnums or any .38 ammo. I did notice that the construction seems to be certainly not on the same level as my 586 and 28-2 in some areas.

Tell me about this neat little revolver.

Someone has to have some opinion or experience with this revolver. Come on now.

I have held one, but never fired one. I liked the one I held, typical model 60 frame with just a longer barrel, a two piece one at that. If you are a fan of the model 60 frame size and like the longer sight radius and adjustable sights, you will really like this gun.

Here is a write up on gunblast about the gun.

I really really really want Smith and Wesson to chamber this gun in .327 federal and make it six shot. I would buy that in a heartbeat.

I have one of those 5" Model 60s. I got it as a companion for my 5" Model 63. With Pachmayr grips it is pleasant to shoot. With the original grips, not as much fun. Mine is accurate enough and has broken in nicely. I have put in a spring kit and smoothed things internally.
