50 BMG as final weapon to my collection ?

Like many members here I am trying to finalize my personal gun collection with the fewest weapons as possible (as if there is such thing as gun collection finalization). There have been many threads to discuss what three guns every American should own. I am looking for opinions to help me decide if my final firearm should be a 50BMG. I currently own a Sears 22 caliber semi-auto rifle, Sig 40 caliber P229ST & a RRA 223 Remington SBR.

I am highly considering a 50BMG because I believe they will be banned within a few years. In my opinion this caliber of rifle is the ultimate sniper rifle. Please help! Your comments are appreciated.

I have one , it is a L.A.R. single shot bolt . I like it I enjoy shooting it.

But make sure your range (if you shoot at one) allows 50 bmg.

I think you'd be better served by a shotgun. I know I would more enjoy a $300 shotgun and the 7,000 shells you could by for the same price as a .50 and 100 rounds.

Nothing seems to say "final" as much as .50BMG. Just my personal opinion.

Or, at least your final "before they ban it" weapon.

I have that many (At least) in the CAR with me whenever I go anywhere.

There is the last gun you add to the collection before going off to the great gun club in the sky however.

Hehehehehe....My "Final weapon" was my M1A "loaded" I bought 6 years and 15 guns ago.
