.50 cal sabots-.30 cal bullet

remember the old accelerator cartridges 30\30 sleeved to a 22 cal bullet-would like to expand upon my encore 209\.50cal rifle. does anyone manufacture such a sabot -think it would be great fun to shoot some woodchucks at 300 yds with a muzzle loader-any thoughts on this or am i insane again

I use 30 cal sabots with a 22 cal bullet in my 7.62x39 bolt action
and they seem to work well though it aint no tack driver.
Sabot can be had from E Arther Brown
