500 S&W Boresnake Size Question:

Which boresnake should we use for our 500 S&W? I have heard some use the 28 ga shotgun boresnake others use the boresnake for the 50-54 caliber muzzleloaders with some complaints about it being too tight.

They don’t make a dedicated 500 S&W Magnum sized boresnake that I’m aware of.

Any suggestions as to which bore snake size for this?

One with a cleaning rod & bronze bore brush attached to it.

You need a real cleaning rod to properly clean the chambers and any copper jacket fouling in the barrel.
Use Copper Solvent on a patch & jag for that.
