Looking for loads on500 S&W 350 gr. speer uni-cor flat nose.
Using 296 or H 110 i don't have new speer book.

The starting load for W-W 296 with the Speer 350gr bullet is 44.0 gr

Do the Speers have a cannelure? I was thinking they were for the 50AE. All I've ever used is the Sierra's and Remington Core-Lokt's... so far anyway.

For the record, H-110 didn't shoot well in my Smith and was dirty as hell.

Yes they do. the price is right on them. They are 16.95 for 50. I can get them in flat noise or HP. But i don"t have a speer book. The two people gave loads for them but there loads are two far apart. 296 & H110 should be about the same Shouldn't be no more than 1gr. apart.

Lil Gun 45-49 grains 1667-1739 grains.

Speer used Federal 215 larg rifle mag primers. test gun was 8 3/8" smith x frame.

Lil Gun has been working GREAT in my Smith.

Gary, the speer bullet with the flat point is 350 grains with a cannalure, is for the 500. The hollow point is 325 grains I think and no cannalure. That one is for the 50 action express.
