5th Crt Ruling In Favor of Plaintiff in Cargill v. Garland, Legalizes Bump Stocks in 3 states

Stare decisis. A ruling applies to district courts within that appellate court but not beyond it. Typically an uneven application of court precedence is a reason the Supreme Court takes cases. Of course they can refuse it too. I wouldn’t go out and buy one yet.

I have been telling people the same thing ever since this was first announced a few months ago. People on the different forums and social media think that the bump stock ban was completely thrown out across the country which it has not. There are at least 3 other courts of appeals that have ruled in favor of the bump stock ban.

The only way this will get resolved is to be heard by the Supreme Court.
