Of course I'd like to own and keep any firearm I wanted to, but that's just not possible when you live here. I'm one who loves shooting and tinkering with guns, just ask anyone who knows me if I'm a gun-nut :D Although I have enough for now I think, I don't need anymore for the competitions I participate in. Plus moneywise, I've spent at least 100000 SEK last year on guns, and that's just original Colts and a couple of Rems, antiques.

dlon. How much is 100000SEK in $? I was stationed in Germany off and on for 11 years and I met some of the most enthusiastic black powder shooters while there. We were allowed to shoot at our rifle/pistol range on the weekends and we would always invite some of the local blackpowder clubs to come shoot with us. What a great bunch. We also would get pistols and rifles from the states via the Army Post Office (APO) for them(it was not illegal just much cheaper). A Dixie Pedersoli .45 caliber flintlock would run us about $400 s&h. It was about $600 for the Germans. We would have to buy our black powder at the local gun/hunting store and it was pricey. Alas, we had no choice. Good luck our Swedish comrade in arms.:)

Yep, of course :) I've bought one Cólt 1860, 2 Rem 1858s, one 1st Dragoon, one R&S, one shotgun. Think that's all. I've sold an 1862 police and one 1858.

Grips choice

I am making a set of grips for this 61 eventaully , time permitting of course , what do you think of Bloodwood on Brass backstrap , sound interesting enough ? With in the White frame ? Ought to be a Dazzling little gun am thinkin .
Here's the Blank , some of it's gone but have some left , enough to do four sets of grips still .
