I have a 629-5 with a 6.5" barrel, I have purchased a new replacement 5" barrel to have installed. I recently got a 625 with the 5" barrel and really like the way it looks and handles.
What should I expect to pay for this work and should I send it to S&W or try to find someone* local.
* A real gunsmith, not some gun plumber, haha
