Just got a PSA lower today (I'm an A2 kinda guy) and put my Sabreco 6mmAR upper with a 26" Hart barrel on it.....Yes it's big and bulky and no I don't plan on playing tactical operator with it. This will be a target/varmint rifle.
By "almost ready" I mean that there's still a lot of load workup to do with this thing. But since I enjoy that part I'm really looking forward to it! Hopefully it shoots as well as it looks. The complete, slick side upper really exhibits quality craftsmanship and machine work.
I never thought anything about the 6mmAR until I ordered a 6.5 Grendel.....upon browsing the classifieds over at the Grendel forum this upper popped up for sale and I couldn't help myself......Since forming brass is so darn simple I figured what the heck, brass is easy to come by and I had plenty of 6mm bullets on hand since I also shoot a 6XC.
Here it is.....the darn thing looks more like an AR10 than a 15!
I suspect there will be some interest in loads.....so as I go along I'll try to share my info with anyone who's interested.
