7-30 waters

im looking at a 7-30 waters barrel for my encor it is 18 inches with a ported barrel im wondering about the ported barrel does anyone have any experiance whith them thanks

A ported barrel on a single-shot rifle in a chambering with no more recoil than a .243?

Stranger things have been made over the years, I guess.

Was it intended for long-range pistol silhouette or something?

that i dont know it is on gun broker w/scope mounts and rings i thought about using in on my rifle frame
