I do the same, and for other countries ammo as well... In a similar vein, have you seen this recent tidbit - Fascinating!... And would make a helluva coffee table.
I've got about 250 30-06 cases from WW2. Most are marked from 41 to 45. I ran them through the wet tumbler and they look brand new aside from some small dents here and there. Can't blame them for being frumpy they went through a war after all.
'64 was a good year! I have a few hundred LC-64 Match cases that weigh and measure as consistently as Norma and Lapua. It looks like your case has been reloaded. I'm going by the silver colored primer and it looks like the crimp has been removed. LC makes some good brass.
I've recently started collecting cartridges and I have several military cases from WW2 and earlier. And yeah, I wish they could talk.
