Does anybody know where I may find load data for the 7.62 x 54R cartridge using .310 or .311 diameter bullets? Everything I've seen is based on .308 diameter bullets.

Yes, the barrel must be slugged to make sure you're buying the right diameter bullet to get the best accuracy. But once that is done, then look for reloading data by the weight of the bullets you're able to purchase in that diameter.

For instance, if you have a .312 dia 180gr bullet that sized right for your rifle, then simply look in your RLM for a 180gr bullet load for a 7.62 x54R. Follow?

Both Hornady 7th edition and Lyman 49th reloading manuals have load info for .311 and .312 rounds.

Lee Modern Reloading 2nd edition has the loads called out for .310 nominal.

Sierra#5 lists only .308 info, which is a bit disappointing.

Speer has no x54r listings.

Those are the manuals I have and use.

If you slug your bore and use properly sized projectiles, the .308 data should work.
I use H4895 and started w/the Hodgdon web info which lists .308. Being an Izzy mine, no suprise, slugged at .312. I use .312 Hornady's. Working up loads all the way up to to Hodgdon's max load data -1gr went well.
Lyman's manual used .311 and .312 but no listing for my powder. Lee was identical to Hodgdon web for my stuff.
