$3 a box is still a good price unlike the price you found of $4 a box. A price of $4 a box is ridiculous like you thought. I've bought that ammo from Widener's and it's good ammo.

Best I've done lately for 7.62x54R has been about $0.18/round, and that was "pre-owned" ammo. With vendors now selling *surplus* at $0.40/round shipped, I can't see Century unloading it at $0.10-0.12/round.

yep, if ya ignored all the warnings about the comming shortages last year all over the other forums like gunboards, akfiles, falfiles, surplusrifleforum etc.. and didn't buy it cheap and stack it...... those are the prices your looking at and they will be going up even more if the Elections in 08 go bad for gun owners. A few months ago there were threads posted about how the BATF isn't and hasn't been approving form6s for any decent quantity of military surplus ammo in the past year without an approved form 6 it can't be imported they can deny em simply by following the letter of the regulations and as the ammo was produced for military and not "sporting" use it comes under war materials.......

all of those threads were deleted by onea the moderators who had posted on one of the threads before locking it that this was hearasy and not THR suitable material but instead just internet BS and that we would have no shortages of cheap surplus ammo............. guess he shoulda left the threads up and let the members be aware and decide for themselves then maybe more people woulda heeded the warnings and bought up what was available while it was still cheap

Anyone have a good or bad report on AIM's current Russian light ball?

It's $150 for 880 rounds, after shipping has been added in; I'm inclined against it unless I hear some fantastic reviews...

I ordered a case, but haven't opened it yet. I'm still working on the 78 Hungarian light ball I got from AIM, which is great stuff. I figure the Russian must be good if AIM is selling it. There aren't too many other options left out there.

I jumped on some sportsmen guige stuff last week.
2 300 rd tins for $76. Got the same stuff 5 months ago
from Century for $25 a tin. Get it when you can, and stack up
on it. With the help of a coupon,shipping isn't bad.
$233 for 6 tins shipped,I'm happy I guess.
Need to feed the PSL!!!
