I think I already know the answer to this one, but I have a line on a 1934/35 production Walther PP in 7.65mm. It is fitted with the heel mag release, no signal pin, specialty "swelled" barrel end, 90 deg safety and marked PDM 7XX with the appropriate serial number. Everything indicates it is one of the pistols ordered for the Munich Police when they were directly headed by Himmler. It's most absolutely a Veteran bring-back, seems fully functional, has some finish challenges, but nothing that some oil and fine bronze wool couldn't drastically improve. The bore seems OK, but I would confirm after some snaking. The main thing is it's listed for $349. I assume "Buy It" is a no brainier? It would be a great companion to my 1943 production Beretta 1934.

Even as a shooter without all the gravy that makes that one special, that pistol is a buy. I got one a few years back and ended up letting it go in trade for a new outboard motor for my little boat. I miss that pistol, and would absolutely replace it with the one you describe.

No brainer. Great shooter, fun collectible, can sell it for more anytime. My 32 PP clone is a lot of fun to shoot and surprisingly accurate. Go for it!
