Hey Guys,
I am loading up some 7mm-08 with 140gr SPBT's and RE19 powder. I have 3 load in my data for it and they vary between 49 grains up to 52 grains. Anyone have any more data that agrees with one of them. Nosler says 49, Alliant says 52, Speer says 51 for a 145grain bullet. I am just trying to get 2 of somewhat the same number.
Thanks.

You won't, since each load book reflects the max in their test equipment at that time. Your best bet is to pick a middle-of-the-road load and work up a max load in your rifle, if you're so inclined. Chamber spec, throat erosion, and so forth all play a part in the pressure curve for a given rifle and what represents a max load in my Ruger 77MkII 7mm08 is waaaaay over pressure for my Encore 7mm08.

I tend to stay away from max loads in anything, since I share ammo between multiple rifles in a given chambering. But if you want a max load - go find it, and do so safely.

Ammoguide lists 49gr. of RL-19 with 140 gr.as a MAX load. It's noted as a compressed load with Nosler bullet. I would drop back to 46 to start and work up for accuracy. Maximize your COL but keep off the lands by .010-.020 for overall performance. It's a great cartridge.

this was a load for goats and mule deer several years ago in Wyoming. 45.2gr IMR 4064/Hornady 139gr SST bullet CCI 250 primers for a total of 2,975fps.

I hit the antalope at 286yds low in the front right shoulder, it went through and exited the off side shoulder. In doing so it removed the top 2/3rds of its heart. The goat never moved and fell right on his nose. That bullet combo is amazing.
