870 Stock Bolt Problem

I have standard length Hogue Overmould stock for my 870. I have a sling attachment that fits inbetween the stock and the reciever to allow the sling to attach to the side of the shotgun. The problem is that the bolt the Hogue stock came with isn't really long enough and it feels like I only have a few threads in the reciever. I removed the sling attachment for now.

Is there a longer bolt that I could use?

Has anyone else had the same problem?

Tried removing the lock washer if there is one? That can give you a bit of length.

You can take that bolt to pretty much any hardware store and match it, though. Those aren't proprietary parts.
