Anyone know the factory OAL for the Speer 9MM 124 Gr Gold Dot?

I bought some from RMR and would like to use the factory OAL. I could always use the slight crimp mark on the bullets as a guide if no one has the factory OAL.

I don't know about the factory OAL Walkalong, but Speer published data for part # 3998 - 124 gr. Gold Dot is 1.120" if that helps at all.

FWIW Walkalong, I used 1.100" OAL with the same RMR pulled 124 GD bullets and they fed/chambered reliably in all the pistols I have tried. 1.120" is hair longer and probably is the OAL reference mark of factory loads.

I've loaded and shot the RMR pulled 124 Gold Dots and they fed and functioned fine in my G19 Glocks. My overall length was at 1.120" with some being a few thousandths shorter or longer.

You should be fine at 1.120 MAYBE 1-2 thousandths shorter but I wouldn't, could cause a chowder compression problem, chamber pressures could become a problem.

I have 147gr GD that measure 1.115" on average. The Speer #13 says they should be longer at 1.130".

Meanwhile 124gr GD measure at 1.125" on average, while the Speer book tells you 1.120".

If anyone is interested in getting any more of those gold dots I am running a 10% off coupon until June 9th. The coupon code is summer

The 10% off applies to all items though. Not just the gold dots. Feel free to spread the word. This is likely the only 10% off of everything sale for this year.
