Regarding your Rohrbaugh - is it really limited to a few hundred rounds before the barrel is deemed "unsafe"? I heard that from a friend but hadn't seen it posted anywhere yet. I have no experience with it though.

Actually, the Rohrbaugh slide spring takes a significant set after 200 rounds - there is nothing wrong with the barrel. The larger diameter spring of its "Seecamp style" telescoping spring assembly is 3-4 coils short of a long-life spring. I may be biased, but I did reverse-engineer their spring assembly to find this out. The problem would be cured if Rohrbaugh were to change the design to two counter-wound nested springs - the same as what Kel-Tec uses in their pocket pistols.

Thanks for clarifying. I was impressed with Rohrbaugh - that's why I was surprised to hear of such a deficiency in the design.
