I was recently sorting through my stash of Misc. 9mm brass and came across some interesting headstamps. A few of them are familiar but most are not (to me anyway)

There are probably more different head stamps in 9mm than any other caliber. At one time, the rim sizes were slightly different on some of them.

I think CBC is the parent company for Magtech.

Geco is a European brand I believe.

CCI the parent company of Speer, Blazer, and I think someone else that I can't think of.

I've seen a few of the others like TZZ but have no idea what they are.

CCI isn't the parent company of anybody. They're all owned by the same holding company.
TZZ is Israeli Military Industries, Tel Aviv, Israel.
MRP is Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos, Santo Andre, Estado de San Paulo, Brazil, for Magtech Recreation Products, Inc., Las Vegas, Nevada (now Magtech Ammunition Company, Madison, Ct.
CBC is Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos, Avenida Industrial No 3330, Santo Andre, Estado de Sâo Paulo, Brazil (ca'1997: Av Humberto de Compos 3220, 09400 000 Ribeirao Pires SP, Brazil)
CCC can be either Canyon Cartridge Company, 141 Albertson Ave, Albertson, NY, or Creedmoor Cartridge Co., Barberton, OH.
GECO is most likely Dynamit Nobel A/G, Troisdorf, Germany. But it can be Gustav Genschow & Company, Durlach, Germany, too. The latter may be owed by Nobel. Dunno for sure.
AD is either Komando Perindustrian TNI, Angkatan Darat, also known as Pabrik Senjata Mesiu, with ammunition factory at Turen, Maland, East Java or MAST Technologies, on ammo made for Abu Dhabi.
The odd 'D' in a circle or an 'O' can be a bunch of places. Prvi if it's an 'O'. Four places plus Dominion Cartridge Co. Different 'D' for them.
What lightman says is absolutely true. Everybody and his brother makes 9mm. Anyway for all things head stamp go here.

ATK (Alliant Techsystems Inc.) was the parent company for CCI/Federal/Speer along with Alliant Powder, Bushnell (Simmons/Meade), Camelbak, Cébé, Champion Targets, BLACKHAWK!, Bollé, Final Approach, Gold Tip Arrows, Hoppe's, Jimmy Styks, Outers, Primos, RCBS, Savage Arms, Serengeti, Uncle Mike's, and Weaver Optics.

In February of 2015, ATK became Vista Outdoor and was top ammunition seller in the US from 2008 to 2013 and holds about 40% of ammunition market for 2015 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vista_Outdoor

The famous one you did not show was AMERC! And I got one to prove it did exist!

I have yet to see one in person and from what i understand is probably a good thing.

(Bottom row, right of center) The letter within a circle is an i for Igman, Bosnia Herzegovina (the muslim part of former Yugoslavia).
(Middle row, left) MRP is for MagTech Recreation Products the importer of Brazilian CBC ammunition.
(Top row, right) Independence-brand. The dot at 9:00 o'clock indicates it was made by Federal Cartridge Company.
(Middle row, right) That CCC is for Canyon Cartridge Company, a rare find.

Suprised we made it to post #5 :) before catpop mentioned the bane of all reloaders :barf: AMERC.

I had some but I tossed it. Should have saved it to send to catpop.

Lots of headstamps in 9mm.
