I have a hi point 9mm and would like to know what loading data to use.
thanks

Use any load data for 9MM. It doesn't matter if it is a pistol or a rifle. Load data is about pressure.

The slower burning powders are going to give more velocity, if that is what you are looking for.

I have light 9MM loads and full power 9MM loads, both of which I shoot in pistols and carbines.

Welcome to THR.

Anything you find in any reloading manual

Whatever powder gives the highest velocity in a handgun will also give the highest velocity in a carbine.

But look at a case full of medium burn rate powder.
Not 4.5 grains of the fastest burning powder.

Highpoint carbines are blow back carbines. Action timing is therefore based on the inertia of the breech block. You exceed factory pressures, breech pressures at extraction will be too high. You will either have malfunctions due to failure to extract/eject, or you risk blowing the case head as too much of the case sidewalls will be exposed when breech pressure is high.
