Rimfire.

Side X side break top, underlever, box lock, hammer, double triggers.

Rifle sights. Front is crescent blade on bar dovetailed into upper rib. Rear is V notch on bar dovetailed through rib.

Left bbl smooth, right bbl rifled. Extractors but not ejectors. Front, right, trigger less curved than rear, left, trigger.

Floating firing pins do not retract unless hammer pulled to half cock.
Small cutaways top of breach above rims to allow gun to open without half cocking and retracting pins. Cutaways do not extend to the outside, just enough to allow barrels to arc away from the pins. Round firing pin noses.

25 5/8" barrels. Very well scaled and delicate all over.
Comb and cheekpiece...stock straight on bottom. Trigger guard rearward extension curled to make pistol grip. I think the butstock is a replacement, fit not all that good. Beautiful wood tho.

Coarse, leaf motif, engraving on action, tangs, paddle of underlever.

Barrels appear to be fluid steel. No forend, but a solder smear on lower rib could be for forend lug. Underlever paddle would preclude a forend going back to the action, but a shorty would be appropriate.

The engraving pattern pretty well precludes space for any maker's name except on barrels. NO engraving on barrels. No name or proof marks on barrels, ribs, lugs tables etc.

Guy who has it curious as to what it is and showed it to me. I dunno. So I came here.

Ammo with the gun is Dynomit Nobel 9mm BBcaps and Fiocci all brass #9 shot shells. Shot shell length is a tad odd for a 9 at 1 7/16.

Respectfully requesting input from the knowledgeable.

Sam

If the guy didn't want 400 bucks, it would have followed me home.:D

If it isn't German, it ought to be. But the lack of proofmarks is odd.

A Belgian gun with no proofs would really be odd. They ran amok with their little stamps with diamonds, and towers, and stars, and ovals.

Sounds like a "Garden Gun"

The lack of proofmarks suggest French manufacture = they were'nt as particular about proofmarks if the piece was turned out by a small custom shop.

This critter is on consignment, $400 asking.
Comes with bout half a box each of long shot loads and short BB Cap loads.
My gut feel is the monetary value is little, Possibly the ammo is worth more than the gun.

Lookin for input.

Sam

Does this look anything like yours? NOTE they made drillings, (3 bbl guns, 2 shotgun one rifle) and they could have made the 9mm
