I love the 336. I am a big fan of this rifle and the action. Very simple, accurate, and reliable.

Glad you got your dads rifle! I always think its nice to keep family heirlooms in the family rather than to see them being sold off at an auction.

I bought a 1949 36C in 95% a while back and never shot it, sold it and now regret that decision. I much prefer old Marlins to Winchesters. Nice rifle!!!

Nice rifle!

The first firearm I bought was a new Marlin 336C in 1971. The second was a Marlin 60 the same year. Still love them today!

I just recently picked up a marlin 336 in 35 Remington and I love it trying to decide if I wanna scope her

Nice video. I still regret selling my first 336 I had years ago. I also killed my first deer with it. I would pay well if I could run across it again. I may just have to pick up another one in the near future.

TH'er

I hear you; I also regret selling off my Marlin 336 some years back. At the time money was tight and I needed cash to pay for school. So I sold off some of my guns, the Marlin included, so I could finish college. Have thought about buying another one, just not all that impressed with what I have seen with current production models.
