Fella's;

Among my optics I have a Leupold Sequoia 15-45X60mm spotting scope. It's decent glass and I have the case, mini-pod, soft carry pouch, and - here's the problem - one lens cover. I called Leupold and asked to buy another objective lens cover. The young man on the phone was very helpful and simply said that since it was an older product no longer in the line-up, they'd just look around & see if they could find one & they'd send it to me free of charge. That was over a month ago and I kinda forgot about it.

Today, to my surprise, in the mail I found a small package from Leupold! I was slightly amazed & quite happy to see it. Got back to the house, opened it up and found they'd sent me the eyepiece lens cover. Now I have two of them, but still not objective lens cover. Yeah, I could call 'em back, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I'd be pounding sand.

Therefore, if anybody here has a spare 60mm lens cover and would like to trade, sell, or donate it, please PM me.

You should be able to use a flip-up cap, I don;t know the outer diameter of your spotting scope, but a 60mm lens is 2.3622 inches, this cap fits 2.43 - 2.461:

Butler Creek 34647 Black Obj Cover, Size 46 - 47 ( 2.43 - 2.461 inches / 61.7 - 62.5mm )

Obviously not a Leupold, but it protects better than nothing.

There's also the Blizzard covers, with the transparent window:

Thank you sir for that advice. I expect to be in town tomorrow & will have to see if anybody's stocking one that big. There's always special order I suppose, no big deal, it's been months since I had the original.

Thanks again, 900F

Go to a camera store. 60 mm should be a standard size for a camera lens. As far as I know, the threads should be the same on telescope and camera lenses.
