i just put a timney trigger spring on my a-bolt and the trigger is unbelievable. the kit comes with a light and a medium spring and installs in 5 min. i went with the heavier spring and get a consistent 2 lb pull now. scared to go any lighter than that on a hunting rifle. best $20 i ever spent.:D

Your post is timely -- I bought the spring set a month or so back, but have been too chicken (and too time-strapped) to try putting it in! Where does it go, and how difficult is it to install? Are there instructions in the package? I'm by no means new to gunsmithing, I do a fair amount on Sigs and 1911's, as well as a few HK's. Any tips you could provide would be much appreciated -- thanks!

Update

Okay, put the two new springs into two A-Bolts last night and took them to the range today. The digital trigger-pull gauge says 1lb 14oz for the light spring (in my .223 coyote gun), and 2lb 4oz for the heavy spring (.270 Win). So easy even I could do it! :)
