That one is actually a '75 280 but before I got married I had a tricked out 73 240, lowered with a Weber Triple Duce, truck 5-speed and 336 positrack, G50-14 tires all around ... it only got 6-8mpg but would do a cloverleaf at 80 and not squeal a tire. Then I got married ... after that fiasco was over I got the 280

I loved the GT6 but really wanted a Spitfire and drop the GT6 engine in it! That would be a convertible beast!


I wish I'd never sold the ElCamino ... but it needed a lot of work and I didn't have the time or money
