Finally got the wife to join me this weekend at a local gunshow. She loves to shoot but hasn't forgiven me for selling her last revolver (Taurus Tracker).
So as we were walking around she was eyeballing revolvers again. Even made the comment that she likes the power the revolver offers. We left the gunshow without a purchase.
Sunday came and me and my son were heading to the outdoor range which was right down the road from the gunshow. Since we had the stamp on our hand for free entry we stopped by just for the heck of it. Well, I ran across a Ruger Super Redhawk stainless in .44 magnum with rings for $500. Needless to say I got out of there with a rather good deal since I got it for $440 out the door.
As I came home I had to break it to her that I spent some money at the gunshow. The look I got when I told her how much I spent quickly went away when I pulled out the revolver to show her. Needless to say the look of anger for spending the money went to a look of excitement when she seen the beast. Now she wants to go shooting again.
That woman likes big guns. No wonder why she stayed with me for so long.
