A Good Day to Shoot Some 22s

Yep. It’s a Cricket. It belongs to my daughter, but I enjoy playing with it.
Nice. I have quite a few .22s that hold 5 to 30 shots. But I,ve been having the most fun with simple single shots last several years. Slows down the whole shooting processes. Not target rifles but simple starter youth rifles. Something to bust a clay pigeon laying on the 50 or 100 yard backstop if I squint and hold my mouth right.

I probably shoot 1k rimfires per 10 centerfires. Love me some .22s.

It's always a good day to shoot some 22's but on this beautiful morning in May I had to go to my club's range and try some 300 WSM handloads and the Henry H-001 22 lever gun and the .22 cal. Ruger Single Six just came along so that I didn't have to make that drive just to fire 20 rounds of 300 WSM. Put 100 rounds through the Henry and 60 through the Ruger. Haven't seen any type of rimfire ammo on shelves around here but my 22 stash is all set for years at the rate I'm going. Perforated some paper targets, paper plates, and made one of those reactive rubber ground targets bounce around at the base of the berm. Was a great morning.
