I just got my Versa Max II for my Kobra Carry yesterday. All I can say is "Wow!" I have tried about three other IWB holsters for other guns, but none felt comfortable in the 3:00 o'clock position, so I had been carrying in the 12:00 o'clock. This is not recommended and not really a good "tactical" place to carry. Up until yesterday I didn't think I would find a comfortable IWB. The VM II fits in this categry. The big downside is the 12-week wait and $97 price tag.

See the reason it was $97 instead of $30? Now hook it to a good belt as well. :D

I think a lot of people give up on CCW after jumping the hoops because they never make the simple discovery you did. QUALITY COSTS!!!!! PERIOD!!

Glad you found something that works for you.

Same song, new singer

I've been saying the same thing for a long time to anyone who will listen. Buy the best holster you can afford and a belt to match. No offense to the folks who like 'em, but Uncle Mike's don't cut it for most of us. I'm glad you made the discovery and hope you will take the previous posters advice. Buy a GOOD belt to wear it with.

I'm a recent VMII convert also. My experience was about the same as RJ's. WOW.

I paid a fair bit more than $97 too......I got excited and had to have it. :)

I bought a 1.5" belt from Milt Spaks also. The belt, while very well made, probably was not worth the $80 I paid. The holster was definitely worth it, OTOH.

RockJock a challenge:

Before you condemn the belt as overpriced-
Go buy a 50 dollar department store belt that "feels" as good. Then alternate the two belts every other day. Within 6 months the department store belt will be stretched out, and have some elasticity to it, this I can promise. A good "dedicated" gun belt(like the one you have) will not do this. That's why the price diference. ;)

I learned this the hard way!!! :banghead:
