Went to the Dayton,Ohio Bill Goodman show yesterday. I must say I was pleasantly shocked. Whereas vendors usually have their prices set pretty high there were some decent deals available. Such as: laminate M91/30s for 125.00, unissued Yugo SKSs for 125.00, good condition K31s for 89.00, and AIM-level(or lower)prices on SA 7.62. Now I realize these aren't the greatest deals in the world, but we all know how nice it is to examine a weapon first hand before buying it. Hopefully this will be the start of a trend, at least in my area. These were all different vendors as well.
Went back to take a closer look at a walnut K31, but someone had beat me to it. Worked out to my advantage though, I spotted a real nice FR8 on my second go round. Had to bring that one home with me!!

the prices there are pretty decent . i went to see the guy with all the AR15 stuff but he was not there but they will be back in 2 weeks

Bought a 1942 hardwood stock M-38 at a show here in MD for $90.00. Same guy had M-44 for $80.00. And I missed the Enfield #4Mk1 for $125...

There was a plethora of M44s at this show, average price being 65.00-70.00. None that really jumped out at me though. Picked up one "in the wrap" at a show a couple of months ago. A real nice 1946 with a blonde stock. Not bad for 65.00.

Glad to see that you found a good show. The one in Knoxville this past weekend didn't seem to have good prices on guns; I wasn't looking too closely. I did see a few SKSs priced at the unbelievably low price of $250.

I did find a decent deal on TiteGroup powder, a 4 pound canister for $62. That's better than buying on the internet, unless I order about 100 pounds at a time. I couldn't find any Federal SP primers though, bummer.

Stupid question I should already know the answer to, but does anyone know if the gunshow in Orange County California is worth going to for bargins? I wouldn't mind picking up an unissued SKS for under $200, or an nice Crickett .22 for my kid for less than the $169 at Turners.

Should I just move from California if I want deals?
