A little help with Hornady LnL Case Feeder

I ran into an issue yesterday while loading 223 on my LnL. The case feeder is doing a real nice job of dropping cases properly into the feed tube, but when the tube gets full it sometimes doesn't shut off the feeder and a real logjam ensues. It appears that the 223 case's small diameter allows it to get wedged at the opening of the tube and the cutoff switch isn't activated.

I seem to remember someone having a fix for this before, but I can't find what it was. Anyone else having these problems, or found a workaround?

Wow, no one has an idea?

I think that I've found a workaround. By raising the bowl about 1/2 inch on its support, I can effectively lengthen the case feed tube. Before, the case mouth was activating the cutoff switch, but occasionally it wouldn't, because the case mouth is so small in diameter. Then when another case was dropped, it would push the preceding case up UNDERNEATH the cutoff switch and mess up the works. Now, the case drops 1/2 inch further (past the cutoff switch) and the case head of the next case activates the cutoff switch.

I know this is a bit confusing, so I will try to post pics to help out those who may encounter this problem.

Sounds like you don't have the "window" open enough to drop the case free.

Re-read OP, the finger on the micro switch need to be SLIGHTLY bent out more, I've had to do this after seeing how the case has more room to slip by the finger.
