For some reason, I can't get the search engine to work for me - I type and nothing shows up in the box.
I'm involved in a debate on another board and I need some info on John Edwards' stance on gun control with links, if possible.

It's obvious...

Edwards is a liberal Democrat. To own a gun is a fundamental American Right by birth, granted to us by God and codified by the Bill of Rights under the Constitution. Edwards being a Democrat and your right to own a gun is mutually exclusive. In short, he wants your gun. Period. All Democrats want your guns. Period. Never trust one. Period. And never, ever vote for one. Period. Any more questions?
 
Yeah, nvshooter, I do have more questions. Read my original post. I understand your argument but I'm trying to change some minds here. It requires more than saying "you're wrong 'cause you're a Democrat".

Edwards is a trial lawyer. These sewer-crawlers look for any reason to make a case and seek enormous rewards from the defendant for minimal damages to the complainant. If he loves guns at all, it's to launch lawsuits at the makers of them. Also, he will say anything to any audience to get their vote. In a "gun state", he says he loves them. In a "no guns here" state, he will say that guns are the root cause of all social evils from the beginning of time. To the right audience, he would say that Cain slew Abel with a low-priced, small-caliber handgun. He's a trail lawyer. That should answer any subsequent questions...
 
There was a story running around here a while back where the Edwards would not let their kids go play alone because their neighbor (they live in some multi-million dollar house/property way out in the woods, and thus live across the road from a blue-collar guy) owned guns, and they (Mr. & Mrs. Edwards) were scared of him because of that.
