A Model 21 gets sold.

I miss a couple weeks of trap. A guy who I have bought some guns from tells me he SOLD his M21.

I knew about the gun and asked from time to time and he always said he would NEVER sell it.

Oh well, he did. For $3500. 99+% ......TWO sets of barrels. Gorgeous.

But.....what the heck.......who needs it? Probly wouldn't have been any good for marsh sluggin fer ducks anyhow as it was ...only......

I feel your pain. Model 21s, especially the later high grades, are great shotguns.

2 sets of barrels, 20 gauge, more like a $5K gun or more...

Two suggestions:

Don't let the seller forget it. Maybe he'll keep you in mind for next time.

And don't miss any more trap nights. That's where the good deals are often found.

Dave....the buyer bought it for the $3500.........walked across the room.....flipped it for $6500......and it was gone from the table by the end of the day.

That's highly irritating. A number of years ago, a "friend" kept telling me about an old man he knew that wanted to sell a pristine pre-70 series Colt Government Model. He asked me if I wanted it. (I think the old guy wanted around $400 for it, but can't remember.) Of course, I said heck, yeah!

Well, my friend kept bringing it up when I'd see him or I would ask, etc. as time went on. Then one day my friend told me HE bought it. Well that sure cooked me, since he had gotten me all worked up about if for so long...

Well Steve....

if it's any consolation, my .........REALLY dumb cousin called me one day. A guy he knew had a 3gun set in the box of Browning Hi Power, the .380 and the .25 and the guy wanted .............$300

fer ALL of em.

I told cuz to BUY it. Cuz is not quick on the uptake or very smart about taking advice. He told me he didn't KNOW if he should buy them because it was a LOT of money. (it was in the early 80's so it was still CHEEEEEP)

So cuz axes ME if I want em. So he gets em and I pay HIM an he pays whoever it was.

So......at least somebody gets a rip once in a while.

But........the..........M21..........ohhhhhh..........that hurts............they are SOOOO nice.

I am going to join the throwing up crowd.
